The “Airspace Protection and Counter-UAV Deployment Project” marks a strategic initiative aimed at securing high-risk zones against unauthorized drone activities. With drone threats on the rise — from espionage and contraband delivery to accidental incursions — Irsa Drone partnered with a municipal authority to deliver a comprehensive anti-drone defense system.

By integrating multi-layered sensor arrays, RF analysis units, and jamming technologies, we enabled automated threat detection, classification, and mitigation. Our goal: full situational awareness, airspace sovereignty, and rapid threat response — without disrupting legitimate air traffic.

Through detailed planning, regulatory alignment, and on-site training, we successfully equipped our client with the tools and know-how to manage drone risks in real-time.

Project Requirement

The project began with rising concerns over unauthorized drone activities during political events and near secure zones. The client required:

The implemented solution offered full 360° detection coverage with AI-powered threat classification. The reaction time was reduced to under 5 seconds upon identification of hostile drones. False positives dropped significantly due to precise RF fingerprinting and behavioral algorithms.

Security teams were able to monitor and neutralize multiple rogue UAVs during a live event, demonstrating the reliability and scalability of our system.
